This multiswitch allows for 8 tuners. DIRECTV DVRs use 2 tuners each. HR34 DVR uses 5 tuners. Contains a 29volt power inserter for use with SWM-8 or SWM-16 adapters. It can be run from the power passing port of a splitter or, on the SWM-16 can be run from the separate PWR port. Also included is the correct splitter to use for DIRECTV whole-home service.
